How to break A Plateau

I've been at 114 (give or take about 1lb) for 2 weeks now! I've been exercising and eating ok but I can't get below 114 for any more than 1 day!

I researched ways to break a plateau:

  1. ZigZag calories
  2. Do more Strength Training
  3. Change my workout
  4. Let your muscles rest/recover between intense workouts
  5. Make sure you're getting enough sleep

Sunday Post :) 114lb

Back down to 114lb (8st 2lb). It's hardly a huge achievement, but I'm getting there slowly which hopefully means it'll be easier to maintain when I reach my goal weight.

I've been eating arount 1200 kcal each day and just started running about 5 times each week. I'm gradually increasing the speed/distance of my jogs so hopefully by next month I'll be able to burn quite a lot of calories.

I've noticed that I'm bigger than when I was at this weight last time (I think?). At my smallest I had a 25.5" waist and 35.5" hips and I was around 7st 12lb (110lb), atm I've got a 26.5" waist and 37.5" hips. On the bright side, I've been doing a lot of ab exercises so my stomach is reasonably flat.

I've been trying to keep up with all your blogs :) Good luck all of you x

Food:

Weetabix = 200 cal
Ham roll = 320 cal
cereal bar = 80 cal
Spaghetti Bolegnese = 600 cal

Total = 1200 cal
Exercise = 50 sit ups (god I really need to run somewhere...)

1 weetabix and banana - 200
Vegetable soup - 130
Yoghurt - 100
Tomato Spaghetti - 600
Total - 1030 cal

Sorry I went AWOL :(

After months of binging then restricting I'm back.

I now weigh 8st 4 and I want to get back down to 110 and then 105. But I realise now that I don't have the willpower to eat 400-800 cals every day for more than 3 weeks without going into major binge mode. So I'm basically just eating 1000-1200ish and slowly losing the weight. I will continue to eat like this until september. I'll be reading all your blogs and commenting on them, I really need to catch up!
